Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay hosted the ‘Aero Bash 2024’ Educational, Technical, and Trade Exhibition last week in Trincomalee. Attendees enjoyed a variety of demonstrations, including parachute jumps by the SLAF, firefighting displays, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief demonstrations and dog shows. A key highlight was the introduction of the ‘Tandem Jump’ adventure sport, offered for the first time in the Trincomalee area, which attracted both adventure enthusiasts and tourists, both local and international.
