The Deaf School Past Pupils Association (PPA), The School for the Deaf, Ratmalana, celebrated its 75 anniversary at the Ramadia Resort, Moratuwa recently.
The organising committee comprised Mahesh Jayawardena, Vice President of the Deaf School PPA, Ratmalana and President Shivantha Vivekanandan, Anusha Fernando, Principal/patron Deaf School PPA, Ratmalana, Buddhika Goonatilleke, Vice Principal and Zaharine Hameen, General Manager, Aitken Spence Travels were present.
The events included a magic show, Deaf Queen, Deaf Handsome Gent, Twisting contests, a film show outlining the history of the Deaf School PPA, Ratmalana . Dance items were presented by the members of the Deaf School PPA Ratmalana. Prabath Jayawardena was the Chief Guest.
