Top rugby players get an opportunity to tune up for the upcoming rugby season when they take part in the Mercantile Rugby Sevens tournament that will be held over three days from September 26 to 28 at the Longdon Place ground.
The Mercantile Sevens championship was once known to feature the best players in domestic rugby who have worn the Sri Lanka jersey. Entries will close on September 13 and the draw will be held on September 23 and Mastercard has once again committed to sponsor this tournament.
Defending champions are 3DH International who secured an emphatic victory in last year’s final against John Keells.
