Old Trinitians win Bradby Golf

Old Trinitians led by Suren Vaas beat old Royalists led by Jehan Ismail in the 9th Bradby golf event played at the Victoria Golf course at Digana on Friday. Old Trinitians scored 6½ and Old Royalist 3½. Out of the nine events Old Trinitians have won six and Old Royalists three.

Vidyartha U-16 TT qualify

Vidyartha College under-16 Table Tennis team qualified for the National School Games which will be held on October 5 to 7 at S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia indoor stadium. Vidyartha became champions by beating Dharmaraja College at the Central Province stadium in Digana. The champion team comprised Oshada Upeksha, Thanjua Dikkumura, Yumek Dikkumbura, Yositha Vihangasiri, Venura Abeyawardena and Deelaka Binath.

Thusith de Silva re elected President

Senkadagala Motor Sports Club re-elected Thusitha de Silva as the president, Anuradha Navaratne (Vice President), Poorana Dissanayke (Secretary), Madhusankha Alawala (assistant secretary), Oshad Wijesekara (Treasurer) and Akila Senanayake (assistant treasurer).

The Committee members are PHN Solomon, Eranga Ranasinghe, EM Dissanayake, Priyantha Abyeratne, Dhammika Bambaradeniya, Mahesh Niyarepola, Harsha Rajawansha and Angel Sumanaveera.
