The curtain comes down today on the 2024 inter-school rugby season as Isipathana College and St. Peter’s College meet in the final of the Dialog Knock-Out tournament at the Sugathadasa Stadium.
The match is a repeat of the 2023 season when the Peterites beat Isipathana in the Knock-Out final after winning the League title as well.
Both St. Peter’s and Isipathana had the narrowest of shaves in the semi finals with Wesley almost turning tables on the former through a fightback in the dying minutes of the match and S. Thomas’ College losing to the latter in extra-time after leading 20-15 until the final minute of the stipulated 70 minutes.
