Our elders

Elders are those who are older than us and have more knowledge and experience. They can be our parents, grandparents, relatives, teachers, and religious people. They are more mature by society’s sweet and bitter experiences than we are. Their knowledge from books is more than ours. We get a lot of advice from them.

It is always a good habit to ask them what we don’t know. They explain how to do things we don’t know. What we know is told in a very accurate way. When we get into trouble, they explain how to get over it. School teachers teach the subject matter and maintain our discipline. Religious people help us to become good.

We must follow the advice given by elders when we become old. Thus, it is our absolute responsibility to take care of the elderly when they are sick and old. When they are physically weak, they cannot do their work.
