Sri Lions Sports Club won the Veterans Netball Championship while Goal Getters were the runners-up at the inaugural Veterans Netball Tournament along with three other categories, the girls under 13, under 16 and 16 – 40 organized by Kotte Sports Club was held at the Angampitiya Sports Ground, Sri Jayawardenapura recently.
APK Manojika of Sri Lions SC was adjudged as the netball queen and the best centre court player was Damayanthi Jayathilaka of Sri Lions SC.
The best shooter was Chamika Jayasekara of Sri Lions SC and the best defender was Yadeesha Fernando of Goal Getters Netball Club.
