The model is based on students being allowed to earn their qualifications and repay the amount granted without interest. The student will have the flexibility to begin repayment one year after completing their degree, with the full amount to be repaid over three to five years. The scholarships were awarded at a ceremony held on 30 August at BMICH. The keynote addresses were delivered by the Founder President of the LEAP Foundation and Chairman & Group MD of ESOFT Metro Campus Dr.Dayan Rajapakse and the Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha. The LEAP Foundation, guided by the “Learn, Earn, and Pay” philosophy, was founded by Dr. Dayan Rajapakse as a non-profit organization to connect with organizations and other stakeholders to develop a self-sustainable student study support scheme. This enables graduates to be work-ready, equipping themselves with the required skills and competencies to face the future with confidence.

LEAP Foundation extends its invitation to all universities, educational institutions and professionals both locally and internationally to come on board and become a transformative force in the lives of future Sri Lankan leaders. Your funding and support will allow the LEAP Foundation to further enhance the opportunities given to deserving students.
