Swadeshi presents potable water facility to Tissamaharama school

Herbal soap brand Swadeshi Khomba, launched its latest CSR project “Swadeshi Khomba Gamata Sathkaraya” program to donate essential needs to villages recently.

As its first project, Swadeshi Khomba donated a potable water facility to Weerahela Junior School in Kohomba-gaha-pellessa, Tissamaharama in the Hambantota district. This will facilitate school children to have clean drinking water.

Chairperson of Swadeshi,Ms. Amari Wijewardene said, “We really believe as a local company we should help future generations to improve their lifestyle and help to have a healthier and happier new generation”. The Principal of Weerahela Junior School said, “We appreciate this initiative by Swadeshi Khomba. Projects such as this are invaluable in order to ensure that to safeguard our children and make a healthier future generation.” The Swadeshi Khomba brand is dedicated to carrying out sustainability projects which focus on caring for Mother Nature. The current effort is one of the company’s many community outreach initiatives.
