Ceylon Chamber appoints evaluator panels

Following the launch of the application process for the Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Awards 2024, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has appointed a panel of evaluators for the Awards. As chairman of the panel, Rathika de Silva will lead an experienced panel of evaluators who will evaluate applications for sustainability under the Awards’ 3 Ps – Planet, People and Profit. Applications under the sub-sections will be considered by expert evaluators in those subject areas.

The ‘Planet’ section of the application relating to the Environment will be evaluated by Ravi De Silva, T.F. Nimal Perera and Prof. Erandathie Lokupitiya. Under the ‘People’ section, the subsections of Employee Relations will be evaluated by Prasad De Silva and Daniel Dissanayake, Community Relations by Prof. Sashika Manoratne and Ms. Zahra Cader, and Customer Relations by Dr. Asanga Ranasinghe and Gerald De Saram.

The ‘Profit’ section of the applications will be evaluated under Economic Contribution and Governance, by Ms. Pyumi Sumanasekara and Ms. Hafsa Banu. The Best Sustainability Projects Awards 2024 recognise individual sustainability projects launched by Sri Lankan corporates, and will be evaluated by a panel of evaluators comprising panel Chair Azam Bakeer Markar, Vinod Malwatte, Mrs. Harshini de Silva Pandithasekera, Kesava Murali Kanapathy, Ms. Karin Fernando, and Dr. Randika Jayasinghe.
