Trinity’s Anurajeewa takes hat-trick

Trinity College’s S. Anurajeewa bagged the new season’s first half-trick as he took three wickets in three balls to bundle out Dharmaraja College for 142 runs in their inter-school match at the Asgiriya Stadium.

The match ended in a draw after the Rajans went on to score 273 for 8 in the second innings after Trinity made 250 for 7 declared in the first innings.

Dharmaraja’s Lakvin Abeysinghe made an unbeaten 100 runs.

Mahamaya girl wins gold

Milini Munasinghe of Mahamaya Girls College did well at the Sri Lanka Schools Gymnastics championship by pocketing gold and bronze medals.

She has been selected to the Sri Lanka gymnastics pool for 2024/25.

The much needed cricket coaching program (Level I) for Central Province coaches was held at the Dimbulla ground at Radella.

Ekanayake leads Antonians

St. Anthony’s College Kandy have named fourth year Coloursman Charuka Ekanayake as their captain for the 2024/25 cricket season.
