Viman Ja-Ela apartments have generated over 4.2 billion rupees in sales prior to the start of construction on August 26, 2024.

This achievement by John Keells Properties underscores the strong demand and interest from investors and home buyers.

Viman Ja-Ela is not another residential project; it’s a unique concept in suburban living, designed to harmonize modern conveniences with the serenity of nature. Spanning six acres, with 65% of the land dedicated to open spaces and amenities, it offers more than just apartments.

With over 15 thoughtfully designed amenities — including meditation courts, a kids’ play area, outdoor sports courts, and cycling/walking paths — the project aims to create a holistic living experience.

Reflecting on the success of the project, Inoke Perera, Sector Head – John Keells Properties and Executive Vice President – John Keells Group, said, “This project represents John Keells Properties’ first venture into the suburban residential market, aligning perfectly with our vision of ‘Creating New Worlds.’

Viman Ja-Ela is designed to offer not just homes, but a lifestyle where harmony with nature, eco-conscious living, and community values thrive. It is a sanctuary that blends modern conveniences with the peace and balance we all crave.”

Since its highly anticipated launch in September 2023, Viman Ja-Ela has quickly captured the attention of discerning homebuyers and investors alike. With an outstanding 75% of units sold across the first two phases, the development continues to set a new benchmark for suburban living.

Head of Sales and Marketing – John Keells Properties, Nadeem Shums said, “The unprecedented response, especially with 4.2 billion rupees in sales before construction, underscores the strength of the Viman Ja-Ela project. We’re proud to embark on a development that combines sustainability, accessibility, and a strong sense of community. This is a place where families and individuals can truly thrive.”
