Tharindu, an emerging lyricist and poet

Tharindu Weerasinghe, a Sri Lankan expatriate residing in Perth, Western Australia, excels not only in the field of professional engineering but also as an emerging lyricist and accomplished poet in both Sinhala and English.

Tharindu Weerasinghe has collaborated with Amila Perera and Udara Samaraweera on a new song titled “Avida Emu Horawakin.” The song is available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Amazon, and Apple Music, where you can listen to the full track and explore the lyrics.

Tharindu has recently worked with Suneera Sumanga on a new song called “Obath Hitiyanam,” composed by Waruna Gunathilake. This track has been attracting attention on Apple Music and YouTube, showcasing the lyrical and melodic talents of these Sri Lankan artists.

Tharindu has also penned songs for notable artists such as Visharad Nanda Malani, Visharad Deepika Priyadarshini Peiris,Visharad Amarasiri Peiris and late W.D Ariyasinghe.

Not only he has written songs for veterans but also for upcoming stars like Mihindu Ariyarathna, Miyuru Somarathne, NuwandhikaSenarathne, Thilina Sudesh Wanninayake, Tharindu has collaborated with veteran musicians like Darsahana Wickaramatunga and Aruna Guanwardana to produce new melodious songs for the talented Sri Lankan vocalists.
