‘Duvillen Upan Daruwo’, the Sinhala translation of ‘Dust Child’ by famous Vietnamese author, Nguyen Phan Que Mai was presented to the Ambassador of Vietnam to Sri Lanka Trinh Thi Tam by the translator, Rohana Wetthasinghe at the Embassy office, Colombo recently. Third Secretary of the Embassy Toan Nguyen was also present.

The Moratuwa Social Service Society and Home for Elders celebrated International Elders’ Day and World Children’s Day on October 1 at the Elders’ Home premises. Darshani Nanayakkara was the Chief Guest and Principal of Princess of Wales College, Kaushalya Wijeweera was the Guest of Honour.
