SLBC hosts Saraswathi pooja and cultural event

The Tamil service of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) held a Saraswathi pooja and a cultural event at the SLBC Kumarathunga Munidasa Studio recently under the patronage of Tamil Service Director R. Kanapathipillai.

SLBC Chairman, Dr. Uditha Gayashan Gunasekara was the chief guest, while Director General, B.N. Dammika Kumara was a special guest. Dehiwala Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple Udayakumar Sarma Kurukkal conducted the Saraswathi pooja.

SLBC Chairman, Dr. Gunasekara and other guests were honoured being draped in golden shawl. Prizes were distributed among the participants of the cultural event.

SLBC staff members were also present.
