DSS boy scores first century

Miyuru Bandara, the skipper of defending joint champions DS Senanayake College became the first to score a century this season in the under-13 Division One schools cricket tournament yesterday.

Opener Bandara scored an unbeaten 100 runs off 91 balls with 11 boundaries and two sixes against St. Joseph’s College in their fixture as DS Senanayake won on the first inning.
