Over 4000 in fray at schools netball finals

Over 4000 players will contest the finals of the Sri Lanka Schools Netball Championship from November 4 to 6 at the Uyanwatte Stadium in Matara.

Organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Netball Association the qualifying tournaments took place from July to October covering 15 centres across the country with the participation of over 13,000 netball players according to the organisers.

Being recognized for its commitment to nurturing young netball players for over three decades, Nestle’s MILO is once again sponsoring the championship.

A spokesman for Milo said they continue to empower young school children to learn the values of grit and teamwork on the field and become the future champions of Sri Lanka.
