Thurstan College’s promising left arm spin bowler Thevin Gunathillake is currently going places in the Under-13 inter school championship.
He has already caught the eye of the officials of the school having taken 10 wickets in their match against Bandaranayake College and 12 wickets against Lumbini College.
The two matches were the only fixtures played so far and with more matches lined up on the cards Thevin according to his coaches is certain to come under the spotlight as a future player as he grows up.
He is coached by Sandaru Dias who is in charge of the under-13 squad at Thurstan College.
