A penetrative bowing performance by Shalom Uyangoda who returned impressive figures of five wickets for just nine runs guided St. Aloysius College Galle to an innings win over Vidyaloka College, Galle in their Under-13 Division One fixture played at Rathgama.
Vidyaloka College scored just 38 runs in their first innings with Udayangoda capturing five wickets for just nine runs.
In their second innings Vidyaloka were bundled out for 41 runs with Sadew Chamathsara claiming six wickets for 16 runs.
Defending joint champion Royal College defeated St. John’s College Panadura by an inning and 67 runs in their fixture at Reid Avenue in another match.
Ramiru Thiranagama, opener of Royal scored an unbeaten 100 with 11 boundaries and three sixes.
