Ceylinco Life was honoured as one of Sri Lanka’s 25 outstanding corporates by LMD business magazine.
The award was presented at a black-tie 30th anniversary gala of the magazine in recognition of Ceylinco Life’s consistent presence among the top-ranked companies in LMD’s different annual rankings over the past three decades.
Recently, Ceylinco Insurance topped the Insurance category in LMD’s ‘Most Respected Entities in Sri Lanka’ ranking for 2024, and also topped the magazine’s ‘Movers and Shakers’ list for moving up a remarkable 35 places on the overall ranking, from 52nd in 2023 to 17th in 2024.
“Consistency amidst volatility is possibly one of the most important strengths in the financial services sector, and our leading positions in the multifaceted LMD rankings provide an excellent illustration of that strength,” said Ceylinco Life Managing Director/CEO Thushara Ranasinghe adding, “We attribute this strength to our unrelenting efforts to build and maintain financial stability through an unwavering focus on the fundamentals of our business and our core values.” Among the LMD rankings where Ceylinco Life and its parent company have consistently held high positions are ‘Brands Annual’ – which ranks Sri Lanka’s most loved brands; the ‘LMD 100’ – which ranks Sri Lanka’s leading listed companies; the ‘Most Respected’ – where Sri Lanka’s most respected entities are ranked; the ‘Most Awarded’ – which ranks leading business establishments based on recognition received via awards and accolades; and the LMD Customer Excellence rankings.
