Superbuild (Pvt) Ltd introduced three waterproofing products Duraflex 100, Duraproof AC 300 and Duraproof SB 40, powered by New Zealand technology to the local market in Colombo recently.
Browns General Trading Division (GTD), a provider of global building material solutions in Sri Lanka has partnered with Superbuild to distribute waterproofing products and solutions to the local market. Among the company’s recent engagements were the waterproofing of Sri Lanka’s longest elevated bridge, the Port Access Elevated Project that was completed using Supercrete-branded products and also the waterproofing of the deck of the Kohuwala flyover.

Browns GTD Head of Sales Subachandran Krishnasamy said they have 4,000 touch points in the hardware market and a huge dealer network which they will use to promote and market the products. There is a big demand for waterproofing solutions in Sri Lanka.
He said it will be targeting the retail domestic market and plans to achieve a 5 to 10% market penetration in about six months.
