The opening ceremony of the OBA Auditorium of TB Jaya Zahira College, Colombo was held recently at the College premises. It was sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Aldasam Al Khatani was the Chief Guest. He opened the auditorium. Zonal Education Office Director, Colombo, P.R. Devabandu and Mushan International Chairman Muslim, Sala17hudeen were also present as special guests. Principal, M.R.M. Manzil delivered the welcome address.
TB Jaya Zahira College, Colombo was inaugurated in 1935.
Presently, there are 650 students and 50 teachers.
Students who achieved Grade Five Scholarships and students who qualified at the GCE O/L Examination 2023, including the under-17 soccer players and co-curricular activities achievers at zonal and division level competitions were awarded. The awards were distributed by Ambassador, Aldasam Al Khatani, Zonal Education
Office Director, Devabandu and Salahudeen.
The Principal presented a token of appreciation to the Chief Guest and special guests on behalf of the College.
President, Old Boys Association, Mohamed Shabeen proposed the Vote of Thanks.
Principals of invited schools, teachers, parents, old boys and students with members of the OBA and SDC were also present.
