Sri Lankan spin twins Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana could be in line to fetch a prize equivalent to Rs. 40 million each at the player auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The player auction will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25.
In all there will be 19 Sri Lankans shortlisted for the player auction with Hasaranga and Theekshana in the forefront.
There will be a total of 574 players to be auctioned of which 208 are foreign players and 366 Indians.
The other Sri Lankans in line to be auctioned are Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera, Nuwan Thushara, Pathum Nissanka, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dushmantha Chameera, Charith Asalanka, Dunith Wellalage, Dilshan Madushanka, Dushan Hemantha, Dasun Shanaka, Lahiru Kumara, Eshan Malinga and Dumindu Sewmina.
