In a commendable effort to support education and community development, MSI students organized a book donation drive for Sri Dewananda College in Matara last month. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and showcases MSI’s dedication to promoting quality education and fostering community growth through corporate social responsibility (CSR).
A variety of books, including textbooks, literature, and reference materials, were collected and donated to enhance the learning experience of students at Sri Dewananda College. The handover event, conducted in collaboration with the school principal, teachers, students, and local villagers, created a platform for engagement, knowledge sharing, and community bonding. The event not only provided much-needed resources but also inspired the local youth to pursue academic excellence.
This initiative underscores the significant role of education in driving sustainable development and highlights MSI’s commitment to shaping socially responsible graduates. Such efforts reflect MSU and MSI’s mission to create a positive impact by empowering individuals and communities through education, embodying the global vision of building an inclusive and sustainable future for all.
