Trinitians rewarded

Trinity College’s talented sportsmen were presented with Colours and the Lion for their respective sports and the presentation was at the end of third term assembly on Friday at the school hall presided over by the Principal Rev. Fr. Araliya Jayasundara.

The Lion winners were (cadetting) DMKGB Dissanayake, (rugby) KALAI Kodithuwakku, TB Dissanayake, RV Illangaratne, SH Alexander, YN Ariyawansa and DDI Watagoda, (swimming) SJ Vishywadesh, MMA Mohamed Aaqil and SN Ranaweera.

Colours were presented to (Athletics) MA Riffai (re-awarded), MS Hamza, DA Gamage, C. Dassanayake, KH Uyanwatta, (Basketball) TA Wanniarachchi, SF Heenagama, MJM Rizvi, ABDS Jayasuriya, SN Gunwardene, PB Machchagama and LST Jayasinghe. (boxing) RN Weerasekara, (cadet band) S. Shaheed, (cadet Platoon) KI Kumaratunga, (hockey) MATB Mallawarachchi, MKGSP Senevirathne, RM Aaqeel, MRM Akram. (Rugby) S. Shrayan, MA Raizan, GHMPN Silva, RBGUI Ratnayake, WMRM Wijekoon, CBB Wijeratne, SWMY Hulangamuwa, RNAH Bandaranaike, WMSRB Wansekara, HSB Wijekoon, MAA Shan, DGNS Kumrasinghe, BDTS Peiris, MU Safraz, (swimming) SC Rahuluge, SJS Kumar (Both re-awarded). Table Tennis AD Gunasena – re-awarded, HA Bandra, DSM Deegalla, UMRE Fernando and MAM Shafiullah.
