A promising cricketer from Jaffna, V Akash and another from Lyceum International School at Wattala have been selected into a Sri Lanka Under-17 squad to confront Bangladesh in a home series starting today.
A student of Hartley College in Jaffna, Akash is in a 15-member squad to feature in three one-day matches to be played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium along with Rasith Nimsara from Lyceum.
