The Prefects Investiture of the OKI International Junior School, Wattala was a momentous occasion, to appoint student leaders who will uphold the values and ethos of the school.
The ceremony, themed “Leadership is a combination of strategy and character,” emphasised the importance of responsibility, integrity and resilience in leadership.
The chief guest Chaminda Wickramasuriya, the Head of Academics of the OKI International School Network, an epitome of an educator and exemplary leader in diversified fields, graced the occasion. Through this investiture, the newly elected prefects were called upon to inspire and guide their peers, setting the foundation for future leadership under the guidance of the Principal, Nishanthi Rathnayake.
