A trio of squash players from St. Joseph’s College hit it big at the 16th Air Force Open PSA (Professional Squash Association) Squash Championship that concluded on Tuesday at Ratmalana.
The trio was made up of Joel Fernando (Novices under-11 champ), Sanon Jesunesan (Novices under-15 champ) and Mohamed Rilwan (Boys’ under-19 second runner-up).
The championship was conducted under the supervision of Sri Lanka Squash with Air Force commander Air Marshal Udeni Rajapakse as the chief guest.
Over 400 players were in the fray that included contestants from India.
