The 23rd edition of the Col. Henry Steel Olcott cricket tournament will be played on December 13, 14 and 15 at the Welagedara Stadium in Kurunegala.
The eight team competition features leading schools established by Colonel Henry Steel Olcott in Sri Lanka. Dharmaraja, Ananda, Mahinda, Nalanda, Dharmasoka, Rahula, Dharmapala and Maliyadeva will contest the matches.
The schoolboy matches will be played on December 13 and the Old Boys’ tournament on December 14 and 15.
The inaugural tournament was played in 1999 hosted by Nalanda College pioneered by the late Bandula Warnapura, the first captain of Sri Lanka.
