Relief assistance for Pottuvil residents

Director, Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, M.S.M. Nawas presents the cheque to Chairman, Kollupitiya Masjid Federation, Rizan Hussain.

The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs and the Wakfs Board of Sri Lanka have allocated one million rupees to provide relief assistance to the residents of Pottuvil from the Muslim Charities Fund (MCF). This allocation was made at the request of the Kollupitiya Masjid Federation.

Director, Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, M.S.M. Nawas presented the cheque to Chairman of the Kollupitiya Masjid Federation, Rizan Hussain on Thursday (December 12) at the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs.

Assistant Director M.S. Ala Ahmed, Departmental Waqf Divisional in charge A.S.M. Javid, Wakf Tribunal Secretary (Acting) M.N.M. Roshan, Ampara district Mosques in charge Officer M.I.M. Munir and Colombo district Development Officer M.I.M. Mazeen were also present.
