SLT-Mobitel secured the Gold Award in the Telecommunications and Technology sector at the TAGS Awards 2024, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo on December 12.
Organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), SLT-Mobitel received the award for excelling in financial and non-financial reporting.
The TAGS Awards aim to promote transparency, accountability, governance, and sustainability among organisations. This year’sawards theme ‘The Digital Edge – Enriching Corporate Reporting Excellence,’ celebrated organisations that showcased the transformative potential of AI and digital innovation in corporate reporting.
The company’s Annual Report showcased achievements and strategic initiatives that align with its mission to enhance connectivity and digital transformation in Sri Lanka. The award ceremony was attended by prominent figures from various sectors.
