The Leo Club SLIIT has taken a significant step towards social betterment with its latest initiative, Project “Manudam Mehewara” (Mission of Humanity). As part of this ongoing community service project, the club completed its first phase on December 11th & 12th, 2024 at the Arunaramaya Dasasil Matha Temple in Korathota, Kaduwela.
This transformative effort not only improved the aesthetic appeal of the temple but also provided a more welcoming and serene atmosphere for the resident monks and devotees. The project was brought to fruition through the collective dedication and hard work of the SLIIT Leos who joined hands to make a positive impact on the community. The success of this initiative underscores the importance of youth-led efforts in fostering a more compassionate and sustainable society.
