The National Literary and Media Awards 2024 was held at the Lake House auditorium yesterday. Senior Associate Editor, Sunday Observer Dudley Jansz received the Lifetime Achievement Award following the selection jointly carried out by the Thinakaran, the national daily newspaper of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) and the Kaveri Kala Manram.
Here Deputy Minister of National Integration, Mohamed Muneer presents the memento to Dudley Jansz. Minister of Women and Child Affairs, Saroja Paulraj, ANCL Director Editorial Sisira Yapa, ANCL General Manager Sumith Kothalawala and Hassim Omar Foundation Chairman Hassim Omar were also present.
