Leo Club of SLIIT successfully launched Project “Hadagasma” Phase 1 in Bangadeniya, Puttalam, on 20th December 2024, with the goal of improving the living conditions of a family in need. The initiative provided essential support, empowering the family with both immediate relief and long-term hope for a better future.
The project team donated much-needed dry food items, ensuring the family had access to daily sustenance. Recognizing the importance of education, especially for children in underserved communities, the team also provided a variety of stationery supplies, giving the children the opportunity to continue their studies without interruption. These supplies are expected to support their educational journey and help them build brighter futures.
In addition to addressing the immediate needs of the family, Project “Hadagasma” also focused on the larger goal of enhancing their quality of life. By providing the family with necessary resources, the project aimed to give them a sense of security and stability, encouraging self-reliance and hope for a better tomorrow.
