CID grills MR’s Chief Security Officer

The CID has questioned former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Chief Security Officer Neville Wanniarachchi.

Wanniarachchi was interrogated for four hours on Friday (December 27) as to how he had acquired a large amount of assets, according to reports.

The CID has informed Yoshitha Rajapaksa, one of the sons of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, to give a statement on the charge of illegal acquisition of assets and he has informed that he will call over at the Criminal Investigation Department on January 3, 2025.
