The Ceremony of Long Service Awards and Vice-Chancellor’s Awards of the University of Kelaniya was held in the precedence of Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya at the Dharmaloka Hall of the University of Kelaniya on Wednesday.
Held annually since 2007, the event aims to recognize and appreciate the contributions of both academic and non-academic staff members over the past year, as well as to motivate them for future achievements.
A significant number of academic and non-academic staff members were honoured under several categories for their outstanding services during the ceremony.
All the awards, medals, and certificates were distributed by Vice-Chancellor Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva.
Deans of Faculties, Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Archaelogy, Librarian, and Registrar were among the guests of the ceremony.
