Sri Lanka is a beautiful island in South Asia. It is called the ‘Pearl of the Indian Ocean’. Sri Lanka is known for its stunning beaches, rich history and diverse culture.
The capital city of Sri Lanka is Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte. There are four main communities in Sri Lanka. They are Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim and Burgher. Sri Lanka is famous for its tea plantations.
Our national flag is called the Lion Flag and the national anthem is ‘Sri Lanka Matha.’.
