S. Thomas’ College and St Benedict’s College will meet in their inaugural cricket encounter for the Ranjith Fernando-Kumar Boralessa Trophy on January 6 and 7 at Mount Lavinia.
Fernando and Boralessa hail as old boys of St. Benedict’s College and S. Thomas’ College respectively.
The Thomians recorded wins against the Benedictines in 2019 and 2024 before the introduction of the trophy.
Sri Lanka under 19 vice captain Sharujan Shammuganathan will captain the Benedictines while the Thomians will be led by Kavindu Dias in the match.
