Hayleys Animal Health achieved significant milestones in quality and safety with its newly established Veterinary Pharmaceutical and Feed Supplement manufacturing facility.
The plant has been awarded several certifications, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, ISO 45001:2018, HACCP, and GMP, a press release stated and added that this achievement underscores the company’s dedication to providing safe, effective and sustainable solutions for Sri Lanka’s animal health industry, ensuring better outcomes for veterinarians, farmers and livestock.
The awards ceremony at the manufacturing plant in Sapugaskanda. Executive Director of Hayleys PLC and MD of Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited, Jayanthi Dharmasena, Deputy Managing Director of Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited, Lushan Abeysekara, Director of Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited and General Manager of Hayleys Animal Health, Dr. Susantha MallawaArachchi, Manager, R&D and New Projects of Hayleys Animal Health, Dr. Chathura Priyadarshana and company officials were present.
Representing the international certifying body, Managing Director of Business Certification Systems, Australia, Sam Fernando also graced the event.
These certifications reflect Hayleys Animal Health’s commitment to upholding the highest standards in quality management, environmental sustainability, food safety, occupational health and safety, and manufacturing practices, the release added.
