A sigh of relief for SMEs

(SME) enterprises can breathe a sigh of relief as the Finance Ministry has come up with a relief package for the SME sector businesses facing regular challenges from within and outside the country since the global pandemic had a throttling impact on their operations.

The Finance Ministry made known the details of the package for the SME sector last week.

The relief program was developed with the support of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Banks’ Association, SME sector and government agencies.
