Malintha Silva
Malintha Silva, a right arm off-spinner from St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa passed the 50 wickets milestone in the ongoing Under 19 inter school cricket season becoming the first bowler to hit the mark.
His best bowling performance in an inning was 7 for 65 against Maris Stella College Negombo and bagged 53 wickets for 697 runs in 13 innings.
Against Maris Stella he took 4/21 and 7/65, against St. Joseph’s 1/75, versus St. Peter’s 2/47 and 3/17, versus Gurukula 4/26 and 4/39, versus Royal 4/59 and 4/41, versus Nalanda 7/86, versus Trinity 3/139 and versus St. Sylvester’s 3/23 and 7/59.
