The Sri Lanka Economic Summit organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), will be opened by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, on the theme ‘Shaping Sri Lanka’s Future: Transformational Growth Rooted in Sound Economic Policies’ on January 28 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.
A CCC media release stated: As a key feature of the inauguration, President Dissanayake will engage in a Fireside Chat on the vision for sustainable economic development, with the Deputy Vice Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber Bingumal Thewarathanthri. The Ceylon Chamber’s leadership, including Chairman Duminda Hulangamuwa and Vice Chairman Krishan Balendra, will also be present, with Duminda Hulangamuwa delivering the opening remarks at the inauguration. The opening session on January 29, will feature a Fireside Chat with Chief Advisor to the President on Digital Economy, Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya.
The discussion on ‘Shaping Sri Lanka’s Digital Economy Roadmap’, will focus on strategies to accelerate digital transformation and advance Sri Lanka’s digital landscape, and will be moderated by Founder of Surge Global, Bhanuka Harischandra.
