Work on the controversial Krrish tower, a $650 million mixed development project has come a cropper after the Indian
investor-led project failed to meet the deadline. The project initiated during the second stint of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa ran into controversy with allegations of secret payoffs to a member of the Rajapaksa family who is currently a legislator.
