The Sri Lanka Retail Association (SLRA), in collaboration with the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), has launched a Retail Leadership Development Program (RLDP).
This program will equip retail workers with vital skills, supporting the growth of the industry and advancing the nation’s economy.
Sessions of the 90-hour RLDP program will be held every two weeks over seven months. Participants will gain from interactive classroom sessions led by PIM faculty and industry experts, real-world case studies that offer useful insights into current retail challenges, and practical skill demonstrations and assessments to highlight their learning. The program is designed to maximize flexibility and engagement.
Participants gain skills that apply to the industry thanks to the program’s wide variety of modules. Retail Reimagined: The Digital Transformation Blueprint, Retail Intelligence: Transforming Data into Decisions, Retailer’s Toolkit for Finance, Customer-Centric Processes and Service Excellence, Winning Negotiations and Building Networks in Retail, End-to-End Supply Chain Management, Leveraging the Power of Marketing and Sales, Decision Making and Problem Solving, and Resilient Retail Leadership.
Retail managers, future executives, and anybody else interested in honing their leadership abilities in the retail industry will find this program exceptional. Participants will study topics including supply chain integration, advanced selling techniques, and the tactical application of digital tools under the direction of experienced faculty and industry experts.
Sessions will be held at the PIM in Colombo.
