Eating better

Eating the right food nourishes your body from inside out. Growing bodies needs plenty of nutrients to help us grow into strong healthy adults and helps us to be active and happy, so it is important to pay attention to the food we put into our bodies. So make it a point to include whole foods into your diet from a young age.

 

Healthy breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So eat healthy foods for breakfast, the choices are endless. You can start your day with a bowl of hot oatmeal with milk, fruits and nuts. Have scrambled eggs and toast with a fruit salad or eat a bowl of healthy beans like chickpeas or mung beans with coconut and lunu miris.

 

Snack healthy

We all love snacks, but instead of reaching out for chocolate and chips try to have a healthy snack that will help your body be strong and beautiful. Try a tasty and fun snack like peanut butter and bananas on toast or a bowl of fresh cut fruit like mangoes, dates or rambuttans with yoghurt. Other healthy snack options include a handful of nuts, raisins and dark chocolate or roast corn with butter or you can even try a hand at making your own snacks with nuts and fruits.
