Kingswood record fourth win as captain hits 129 and grabs 12 wickets

Unbeaten Kingswood College recorded their fourth win when they trounced Bandaranayake College by an inning and 115 runs in their inter school encounter played at Katugastota on Friday.

Sri Lanka youth cap Kavija Gamage who is also the skipper of Kingswood came up with an all round performance to guide his team to this comprehensive victory.

He scored 129 and also captured a match bag of 12 wickets for just 44 runs.

Scores:

Bandaranayake College: 68 (Gamindu Galkissage 21, Upali Jayawardane 5/12, Kavija Gamage 5/23) and 49 (Kavija Gamage 7/21, Upali Jayawardane 2/11)

Kingswood College: 232 (Kavija Gamage 129, Eshan Wijekoon 20, Manidu Herath 6/64)
