CIB which marks 48 years in the business world, has formed a holding company, CIB Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, a groundbreaking development that brings together 15 diverse companies under one unified corporate umbrella. The launch ceremony took place on January 31, which brought together various stakeholders and business partners. Chairman/Founder K.R.G. Wijesundara, Directors Wasantha Wijesundara, Buddhika Wijesundara and Hesara Wijesundara, V.K. Jayawardena, Group CFO Vajira Dissanayake, Group CMO Samantha Perera and the senior management from all the companies under the CIB umbrella were present. This strategic move makes CIB Holdings the first-ever fashion industry holding company in Sri Lanka, strengthening its position and expanding its reach across a variety of industries, a media release from the company stated.
