CR & FC who went down to Havelock SC last weekend, will be fired up and will be looking to finish winners in their final encounter against the unbeaten Kandy SC at Longdon Place today (9).
That loss will certainly pep up the determination of CR to produce some exhilarating rugby to beat Kandy SC this time around. It is not impossible to beat Kandy SC as Havelocks were unlucky to lose to them in their confrontation in Colombo. CR should remember this display by Havelocks and the fight they offered in the second half is visually good enough to beat Kandy SC this time around.
With Kandy eager to maintain their unbeaten run, CR should believe in themselves and produce a special brand of rugby to topple Kandy in the points table. Both teams will be eager to finish winners that can give them a prominent place in the points table. Both teams have everything to play for, making this a must-watch clash for any rugby fan.
CR will be aiming to bounce back from their defeat to Havies while Kandy SC will aim to maintain their unbeaten run.
Police vs Sri Lions at Police Park
In another game today (9), Police SC will be aiming to recover from their loss to Kandy SC with Sri Lions hoping to continue with their good display in their last game against Air Force. Should they improve in certain areas of their game, like tackling, Sri Lions can hope to win against Police who at times were unlucky despite fielding a good team.
Police are currently positioned in eighth place just one slot behind Sri Lions.
