Alumex PLC, a manufacturer of aluminium products in Sri Lanka, hosted the ‘Lumin Certification Award Ceremony 2025’ at The Kingsbury, Colombo recently.
The event was to celebrate the accomplishments of 37 fabricators, who were elevated to the status of Lumin Certified Fabricators, expanding the network of Lumin Experts to 114. This marks the third consecutive year Alumex has hosted this event, serving as recognition and celebration of the expertise of the company’s fabricator network, a media release from the company stated.
Alumex’s emphasis on training and development has played a pivotal role in the success of the Lumin Certification program. Over 25 years ago, Alumex set up its Training Academy to address the shortage of skilled fabricators in Sri Lanka.
Managing Director of Alumex, Pramuk Dediwela said, “The Lumin Certification Award Ceremony is a celebration of the profound impact our fabricators have on shaping the future of Sri Lanka’s construction and architecture industries. “Through our continued investment in training and professional development, we are creating a network of experts committed to the highest standards of quality and sustainability. This initiative empowers our fabricators, elevates industry standards, and drives our shared vision of a greener, more innovative future,” he said.
