Lake House journalists win awards

Ten women in the media industry were honoured with the ‘Kala Mithra Award’ at an awards ceremony organised by the New Wave Art Circle. Editor, ‘Rasaduna’ magazine, Inoka Samarawickrama and translator, ‘Thinakaran’ newspaper, Rajagani Violet were among the winners. Here Inoka Samarawickrama receives her award from chief guest Hashim Omar. The ceremony was presided over by the founder of New Wave Art Circle, Radha Mehta.
